Episode #15: What You Need to Know About Air Quality
In North Texas, there is a lot of room to improve when it comes to air quality. Although, over the course of the last 20 years air quality has improved. The standards keep changing/ becoming more stringent but overall the trend of air quality has improved. There are many things we can do to help continue to improve. One example is using low VOC paint. When you go to buy paint make sure you ask for paint that is low VOC. They won’t automatically give it to you. This helps reduce the impact on the environment as well as limit your exposure to those compounds.
It’s important to be mindful of your impact. Very small decisions times 7 million makes a huge difference, even if we don’t think so. Learn more about Lori, the work she is doing and how you can help the environment.
